Wind Ensemble concert set for
Tuesday, Nov. 12 in Riceland Hall

The Arkansas State University Department of Music will present a Wind Ensemble concert Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 7:30 p.m. in Riceland Hall at Fowler Center, 201 Olympic Drive. The Wind Ensemble is under the direction of Ed Alexander, director of bands.

The program will consist of "Tam O’Shanter" by Malcom Arnold; "Colonial Song" by Percy Grainger; "Grayson Dance" by David Holsinger; "Blue Shades" by Frank Ticheli; "Watchman, Tell Us of the Night" by Mark Camphouse; and "Hands Across the Sea" by John Phillip Sousa.

Personnel for this group are Rose Degrandchamp of Searcy, Whitney Farris and Shelly Lunbeck, both of Jonesboro, Tina Glover of Piggott and Candice Harrison of Bryant, flute; Amy Dunivan and Miguel Picanco, both of Jonesboro, oboe; Jessica Crociata of Tampa, Fla., English horn; Jodie Atchison of Bald Knob, Tonya Butcher of Batesville, Tara Hooker of Trumann, Amanda Miller of Corning, Ashlea Rudder of Jonesboro and Staci Stewart of Prescott, clarinet; Misti Cook of Russellville, bass clarinet; Nicole Carroll of Bryant, Mike Scott and Jenny Pham, both of Jonesboro, bassoon;

Jonathan Fulkerson of Paragould, Jonathan Rohner of Bono and David Robinson of Newport, alto saxophone; Drew Breckenridge of Newport, tenor saxophone; Shane Hill of Halls, Tenn., baritone saxophone; Tom Akin and Peter Davis of Jonesboro, Corey Emerson of Belfast, Ireland, Sherrie Fincher, Jimmy Gazaway and Vanessa Johns, all of Paragould, trumpet; Nicolae Balu of Romania, Kim Brown of Forrest City, Mary Ross of Memphis, Greg Osbourne of Jonesboro and Elizabeth Sullivan of Sherwood, French horn; Robby Bennett of Jonesboro, Daniel Harrelson of Monticello, Lanny Heidbreder of Corning, Celia King of Benton and Corey Spencer of Wynne, trombone;

Burgess of Trumann, Russell Niemeyer of Prescott, Rusty Shields of Paragould, Blake Vickers of Cabot, Tina Gragg, Ben Runnels and Adam Watkins, all of Jonesboro, percussion.
