7, 2002 Symphonic Band set to perform Tuesday, Feb. 12, in Riceland Hall The Arkansas State University Department of Music will present the Symphonic Band in concert Tuesday, Feb. 12, at 7:30 p.m., in Riceland Hall at Fowler Center, 201 Olympic Drive. The Symphonic Band is under the direction of Ed Alexander, director of bands. Musical selections for this concert will include "A Copland Tribute" by Aaron Copland, arranged by Clare Grundman; "Sun Dance" by Frank Tichelli; "Freedom Road" James Curnow; "Night Dances" by Bruce Yerko; "My Jesus What Anguish" Alfred Reed; and "British Eighth" T.O. Elliott. Graduate students Ronda Herring and Lori Shepard will guest conduct. Members of the ensemble include Christina Drennen of Eads, Texas, Lindsay Krantz of Cotter, Davita Parks of Blytheville, Denise Seal of Bryant, Amanda Suel of North Little Rock and Skye Williams of Hensley, flute; Matt Howard of Hope and Damian Sanchez of Miami, Fla., oboe; R.J.
