ASU has activities set for
Family Day on Saturday

Arkansas State University will welcome students and their families to campus for a day full of activities Saturday, that will conclude with the Indians taking on the Blue Raiders of Middle Tennessee State University at 4 p.m.

Family day provides an opportunity for parents and siblings to join their ASU student for a taste of collegiate life at their home away from home.

Activities will kick off at 10 a.m. when various campus organizations will host open houses. A reception hosted by President Les Wyatt will be at Fowler Center, located at 201 Olympic Drive, from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. Students in attendance may register to win a tuition-only scholarship that will be given away during the fourth quarter of Saturday’s ball game.

The new Sports Complex, located just south of Indian Stadium, will be open from 1 to 2:30 p.m. for tours. And a tailgate party will be from 2 until 4 p.m. in the Pines, located just east of the stadium.

Kick-off is at 4 p.m., and the ASU Family of the Year will be recognized at halftime.

For more information about Family Day 2002 visit the Website or call Dawn Tucker, 870-972-3942 or 888-225-8343.
