5, 2001 Museum to host work by Andrew Kilgore March 12-15 The Arkansas State University Museum will exhibit photographs by Andrew Kilgore in honor of Disabilities Awareness Week, March 12-15. The theme this year is "Celebrate disAbility through Creativity, Diversity and Spirit." Kilgore helped develop a Department of Art Photography at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. The exhibit photographs are a celebration of courage and beauty. Kilgore sympathetically portrays these disabled Arkansans, our brothers, sisters, parents, children and other relatives. The photographs are on loan to the museum from the Arkansas State University Department of Art. The exhibition will be on display in the Museum Lobby Gallery from Monday, March 5, through Sunday, April 1. Museum hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free and the public is invited. |
