photographer exhibits work from ‘A Delta Era Gone By’ "A Delta Era Gone By" is on exhibit in the Arkansas State University Museum lobby through Sunday, July 28. The exhibition features photographs made by Nadia Price in Memphis and the Mid-South region from the 1930s into the 1960s. Ms. Price’s photography career began in 1939, making her one of the first professional women photographers in Memphis. The photographs are human interest shots of people in African-American communities working, playing, going to school, and practicing their religion. Price made most of the photos on her way to and from other assignments. ASU Museum hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free.
