Giving Food for Others:  This year there are two ways to show your support for the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas.  You can bring your non-perishable food items and place them in boxes located in the lobby of your building or you can buy a heart for a $1 donation.  These hearts are available from any Christmas Open House committee member (click here for list) and will decorate the lobby of the Administration building throughout the holiday season. "The Heart of Christmas is Love"... show how much you care by helping those less fortunate this holiday season.

Faculty Women's Club Dinner:  Mark your calendars for the Faculty Women's Club Christmas Dinner, Friday, Dec. 3, 6:30 p.m., at the Reng Center Ballroom.  A dinner complemented by the music of harpist Pat Qualls will precede a night of holiday entertainment.  The SAC Orff Ensemble, under the direction of Elaine Bartee, will present a Christmas musical tribute.  The ensemble, organized in 1989, features 50 sixth grade students from the Jonesboro Sixth Grade Academic Center which has performed at the Arkansas All-State Convention in Pine Bluff, at the International Convention for Gifted and Talented in Little Rock, and as special guests with the Northeast Arkansas Symphony.  Mrs. Willie Oates, well known Arkansas philanthropist and entertainer, will provide a nostalgic look at Christmases past in her holiday skit "Is Santa Claus Aging?"  This holiday look at aging will prove that aging is truly an attitude of the mind!  For tickets, or for more information, call the Finance Office at 972-2024 or contact Julia Lansford, president, at 972-2094.
