Homecoming Week at ASU: Numerous Homecoming activities are scheduled for the week, and alumni who are "Hopelessly Devoted to ASU" (this year's theme) will be returning to the campus.  Click on Homecoming to see the complete Homecoming events schedule, as prepared by the Alumni Relations Office.

United Way and ASU: Commitments to the United Way Campaign are still coming in, with a couple of weeks to go in this year's drive.  The ASU goal is $27,500, and this year's theme is "Put a Little Love in Your Heart."  When you give to United Way, you're giving to help people and families who share the same streets, churches, workplaces and parks as you and your family.  Click on United Way to see another partial list of supported agencies.  ASU employees who pledge by Oct. 22 are eligible for some great prizes.

Congratulations to ASU Heart Walk Participants on being the top fund-raisers for the fourth year in a row!  Seventy-two caring ASU people participated in the event which netted more than $5,000.  ASU's name will go on the traveling plaque, which will be sent to the President's Office.  The ASU team also won a bicycle, the top prize for winners.  The group held a drawing to select the winner of the bike.  Congratulations to Jodi Small, a BSN student, who was the lucky winner!  ASU is fortunate to have so many caring faculty, staff and students who never fail to come together for such worthy causes.

Faculty AchievementsListings of  faculty members who have distinguished themselves and their departments for outstanding professional achievements will resume next week, when the calendar of events is not so long.
