of Business honors outstanding graduates The most outstanding graduates of the College of Business at Arkansas State University were recognized at the college’s annual honors banquet, according to Dr. Jan Duggar, dean of the college. The outstanding graduate awards are presented during Convocation of Scholars each year to the senior in each degree program who has excelled in scholarship, leadership and service to the respective departments. Those receiving awards were Amy W. Whitaker of Jonesboro, business education; Deatra R. Rieke of Hazen, business administration; Angie M. Pickens of Olive Branch, Miss., accounting; Neva Simunkovic of Dubrovnik, Croatia, finance/corporate; Kevin Kercheval of Pocahontas, real estate; Keith R. Little of Jonesboro, international business; Christopher R. Stevens of Judsonia, management information systems; Barbara McClung of Trumann, management; Lacey Johnson of Melbourne, management (degree center graduate); Krystal Thurman of Holcomb, Mo., marketing; Jeannie L. Cossey of Harrisburg, business systems. In addition to departmental awards, Kawia R. Bradley of Sidney received the Wall Street Journal Award, and Simunkovic received the Talbert/Carrothers Deans’ Award. Rodney Haynes of Jonesboro and Paula Crumrin of Blytheville received a College of Business Graduate Award for their work in the Master of Business Administration graduate program. James Michael Borden of Colt received a College of Business Graduate Award for his work in Master of Science in Business Education graduate program. # # # |
