ASU recognizes 99 students
designated for Who’s Who honor

Ninety-nine Arkansas State University students have been named to the 2002 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

An ASU nominating committee and the editors of the Who’s Who directory made the selections. The award is based on academic achievement, university and community service, leadership in extracurricular activities, and potential for continued success.

Dr. Les Wyatt, president of ASU, and deans of the various academic colleges recognized the award winners recently at a Recognition Night dinner held in the Convocation Center on the university campus.

One student among the group of 99, Ashley Whitmore of St. Charles, was recognized as the most outstanding Who’s Who student.
