18, 2001 College of Business, Alumni Chapter will host Alumni Breakfast Saturday The College of Business at Arkansas State University and the recently formed College of Business Alumni Chapter will host their first Alumni Breakfast and awards ceremony Saturday, Sept. 22, at 9 a.m. at the Holiday Inn in Jonesboro, 3006 South Caraway. Mark Luccitti, operations manager for Frito-Lay Jonesboro, will be the guest speaker. Honorees at the first awards ceremony and breakfast include Jim Boswell and Luis Intres, two outstanding business executives who serve Northeast Arkansas and contribute to area business, the community and the College of Business, according to Dr. Jan Duggar, dean of the College of Business. Boswell is the chief executive officer of Northeast Arkansas Clinic, one of the largest physician group practices in the Mid-South. He has more than 18 years of management experience including the financial services industry, the manufacturing industry and the healthcare industry. He joined NEA Clinic in 1999, and under his direction the clinic received the American Medical Group Associations’ Preeminent Medical Group of the Year Award in 2001. Boswell and his wife Carrie live in Jonesboro. They have three children, Jameson, Cameron and Allison. A Fort Smith native, Intres, has a 32-year banking career serving as president and senior lending officer of various banking institutions in Oklahoma and Arkansas. Presently he is executive vice president, senior lender and a board member at Heritage Bank. Founder of the Greater Jonesboro Education Foundation, which provides grants to local public school teachers, Intres serves on numerous boards within the community including United Way and the Chamber of Commerce.
