JETS offers special fixed route service for football game

October 22, 2009 -- JETS (Jonesboro Economical Transit System) announces a special fixed route service on Saturday, Oct. 24, to the ASU Stadium for Saturday’s ASU Homecoming football game between the Red Wolves and the Florida International University Panthers. This week’s service will have additional capacity due to the ASU Fifth Quarter celebration being held in downtown Jonesboro following the game.

JETS buses will depart downtown Jonesboro from the City of Jonesboro free parking lot at the intersection of Church and Cate Streets. Buses will depart that parking lot for the stadium at 3 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 4 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 5 p.m., and 5:30 p.m. After the game, JETS buses will load fans in the ASU Stadium parking lot immediately north of Gate 11. The buses will load 10 min. after the game ends. Additional buses will deliver fans downtown to the City of Jonesboro free parking lot at Church and Cate Streets 20 min. after the end of the game and 40 min. after the game.
